Richland Construction and Development, Inc. is a subsidiary of Richland Group Enterprises, Inc. We have been developing real estate in the Bridgeport and Chinatown area in Chicago for the past 20 years. Under the direction of Mr. Francis Yip, Mr. Perry Lau, we have firmly established ourselves at one of the most prominent developers in the Bridgeport area. Our Santa Fe Gardens project in Chinatown has received much attention of late, and is giving a new look and a new life to the Chinatown area of Chicago.

Established Established in 1990, Richview started developing small residential projects in the Bridgeport area. Although these projects are relatively small, they are of premium construction quality, and the contemporary architecture style gives a welcoming accent to a neighborhood surrounded by 50-year-old vintage brick houses. In mid 1990's, we developed a project on Kenmore Street, on the north side of Chicago, 26 townhouses with an enclosed courtyard, which was well received by the community. Later, we came back to Bridgeport to start another project on 31st Street, 32nd Place, and Benson Street. In 1997, we started to look into the possibility to increase the residential area of Chinatown towards downtown Chicago. We finally chose the site that was once the Santa Fe Coach Yard. The project was then aptly named Santa Fe Garden. The construction began in 1998. Four years later, we are halfway through transforming a vacant train yard to a beautiful residential area equipped with playgrounds, a shopping center and a riverside park. We expect to finish the Santa Fe Garden project by 2008. In the meantime, we continue to find opportunities to develop other residential projects in Chinatown and Bridgeport area. With the increasing demand for residential units in this area, we expect to develope an average of 100 units a year in the foreseeable future.
